Vetergy Group is excited to announce that Edward Flynn will be joining our team as an Executive Business Development Advisor.

Flynn served for more than 30 years as Vice President and Director of Health, Safety & Security before retiring from the Louisiana Chemical Association. He handled chemical security, health, safety and emergency preparedness/ response issue for chemical manufacturers in Louisiana. Flynn has extensive experience in helping organizations build healthy cultures.

Over a 30-year career (1990 - 2020), Flynn worked with LCA member companies and supported 100 locations across the state. He represented critical infrastructure businesses to all levels of government and many private sector organizations; he led LCA’s Security and Safety committees; he managed LCA’s emergency management activities during many active hurricane seasons and he served as executive director of LCA’s Freight Rail Task Force.

Flynn has also served in leadership positions on Boards and Commissions including the Louisiana Environmental Health Association; Baton Rouge Community College Foundation; the Environment & Health Council of Louisiana; State Emergency Response Commission; Louisiana Cybersecurity Commission; and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Chemical Sector Coordinating Council.

Vetergy will draw on Flynn’s experience and network in the chemical sector to expand our services across the southeast.
